A remodel is the right time to do plumbing right. Walls are open. Old supply and drain lines are exposed. Fixture locations can still be adjusted. Every plumbing decision made during a remodel will last for the life of the home — so it pays to plan it carefully.

What we do during a remodel

Pre-construction planning. We review your design plans and flag plumbing decisions that affect layout, cost, or timeline. Moving a drain line by two feet might be trivial; relocating a stack to the other side of a wall might require structural changes.

Rough-in. With walls open, we run new supply (PEX or copper), drain, and vent lines. We set shower valves, tub spouts, and any in-wall fixtures. We coordinate the rough-in inspection so the city signs off before drywall.

Fixture and trim install. After tile, paint, and cabinets are done, we install final fixtures: toilets, sinks, faucets, showerheads, water heaters, garbage disposals, dishwashers. Final pressure test confirms no leaks.

Common remodel decisions we help with

• Tankless conversion — remodels are the easiest time to convert to a tankless water heater because gas, electrical, and venting are often already being modified.
• Hot water recirculation — adding a recirc pump during a remodel is much cheaper than retrofitting later.
